I spoke with german student. He is working in my laboratory too but only one a week or something.
He is taking charge of vibration analysis of a robot. This robot's more like a tank with caterpillar and supposed to use for elimination of landmines or something. But it's not ready for actual use I guess.
Anyway, I was wearing Anime T-shirt today and he recognized it, "Hey I know that Anime". Then we started talking about Anime and Films...
He was not same as the other Japanese Anime funs actually. He said he was actually trying to draw something.
He said he felt they were close to himself when he watched the Animes from Hayao Miyazaki. I understand that.
But, when we were talking about Akira Kurosawa and what a surprised he said "I found my dream in the film Akira Kurosawa's Dreams".
I've never heard of this before. I was like "shit, I should have watched it". I was ashamed that I'ven't seen it before.




2006年のドイツワールドカップは観られなかったけど、今年はユーロ2008がスイス、オーストリアの共催で。
といってもスタジアムまで観にいくわけではないけど、寮でテレビ観戦しています。
部屋までテレビアンテナ回線は届いているけど、テレビ自体を持っていないので、キッチンにある小さいテレビで、他の人たちと一緒に観戦です。
ドイツ戦が昨日あって、パブリックビューイングじゃないけど、プロジェクターで映して、みんなビール片手に観戦してました。
この時期、街ではドイツの国旗をよく見かけます。車にくっつけていたり、窓から出ていたりします。
寮でも、キッチンなどが赤黄黒のドイツカラーで飾られています。
