It was pretty tough to understand the presentations even the aim of those projects.
I was probably overconfidence with German. I had thought I could make it somehow but it was totally wrong.
I can not help myself chosing English to study, I mean, if I weight the English against German.
When I talked with a professor and a student who is studying digital holography about my research project, particle tracking with digital holography, I got a question why I use off-axis hologram set-up for particle measurement.
I tried to explain like that;
The detected intensity is represented as cosin function. Which means, to which z direction a particle movies, the detected intensity is going to be same.
So, to determine which z derection a particle moves, I need phase analysis.
Therefore, I need to controll reference wave, which means, the set-up is needed to be off-axis.
Yes, I made it!
However, they looked they didn't get it. They insisted it's not necessarily.
If they were right, I don't want it to be, it's like what the hell have I done for more than 1 year.
