I went to Calw, Baden-Württenberg, Germany. Calw is famous as the birth place of Hermann Hesse, a German-Swiss poet, novelist, and painter. And in 1946, he received the Nobel Prize in Literature. Calw is a small, quiet, peacefull town. One hour is pretty enough to walk around the whole city. Stuttgart Hbf - Weil der Stadt : 30 minutes by train, S-bahn 6. Then, Weil der Stadt - Calw Bh : 30 minutes by Bus. Calw is out of VVS area and you need to pay 3.30. Hermann Hesse Museum. 5 (3 for student) Calw city view. Statue of Hermann Hesse on the Nikolaus Bridge. Nikolaus Bridge is unfortunately under the construction at the time. Picture of Hermann Hesse. In Hermann Hesse Museum.
