VISA update
diary / 08-03-04

Finally I got a VISA, valids untill the end of August 2008.
What a relief!

When I went to the immigration office in Esslingen on 28th Feb. Thursday, the officer said it takes about 2 weeks to get VISA.
I was like oh my god, that's too much.
Because, at that time, I already had a plan to go to Paris, France, from 5th to 12th of March and already booked everything, 7 nights Youth Hostel, TGV train round tickets from Stuttgart to Paris.
So, I needed to get my passport back with new VISA anyhow before my departure which means 4th of March.
And I begged.
Um...I WOULD LIKE TO go to Paris next week and I need a passport back on 4th. Is that possible...?
Officer breathed a sigh. It was like "Again!"
After some lectures like a tons of people come to office at the last minute of expiration, and some messy situation happened expecially students like me, the officer gave me a claim receipt paper, written "pick up your passport on 4th March".

ということで、無事にビザが更新できたので、堂々とあと半年滞独することができることになりました。
インターンは7月11日までなので、そのあと一ヶ月ほど余裕があり、旅行するつもりです。
